You have a coaching offer. You have been posting. You know the work could help the right woman.
But the sales conversations have not followed.
So you start looking at business coaches. One offers a single session. Another sells a course. Another invites you into a longer private program. The prices differ, and now you are asking a fair question: What should I actually pay for?
There is no single business coaching price
The cost depends on what you receive: a focused diagnostic, a self-paced program, group guidance, or ongoing one-to-one support. A higher price does not automatically mean a better fit. And the lowest price can still be expensive if it does not address the problem in front of you.
Before comparing price tags, compare what the support is designed to help you do.
Ask three questions before buying
1. What is the gap?
Is your buyer unclear, your offer difficult to explain, your content attracting agreement rather than inquiries, or your buying path confusing?
2. What is actually included?
Ask about the number and length of sessions, feedback, response times, access period, and whether support is private or group-based. Be careful with phrases like “personalized support” unless the provider explains exactly what that means.
3. What action will you take afterward?
A useful purchase should lead to something observable: a clearer offer statement, a revised sales page, a specific invitation, or a conversation you can initiate. None of these guarantees a sale, but each gives you a way to test progress.
The right price depends on the right problem
Imagine an established coach whose posts receive encouraging comments but no questions about working together. She may not need a new business model. She may need language that tells a qualified buyer what her coaching actually solves.
I learned that having a vision and taking the steps were not the same thing. That is why I care about guidance that ends in implementation, not another collection of notes.
Before purchasing a larger program, start by naming your offer's clearest missing piece. The $27 Offer Clarity Workbook + optional AI Companion is a DIY starting point designed to help you identify a message or offer gap in under 30 minutes. It does not include calls or private coaching. The article page includes the workbook purchase invitation.
The better question is not simply, “Can I afford a coach?” It is, “Which next decision will this investment help me make and carry out?”
