You’ve Rebuilt Your Life. Now Build the Idea You Keep Carrying.

I know what it is to carry an idea while leaving it unfinished. In The Day I Walked Anyway, I wrote about a morning on Maui: beauty outside my window, while inside I was thinking about the business I kept circling, the half-written book, and the women I wanted to serve.

That is part of the story behind my work. I understand the distance between seeing the vision and giving it a place in your day. This is why I keep bringing us back to a decision we can act on.

You’ve done the work to come through a difficult chapter. You’ve rebuilt routines, found your footing, and started recognizing yourself again.

Now the same idea keeps returning.

A book. A coaching offer. A digital product built from something you know and can teach.

You open your notes, add another possibility, and close them again. The desire is there. A clear direction still needs a decision.

Give the idea a job

Your experience can hold meaning long before it becomes something you sell. When you are ready to build an offer from it, choose a specific way it can help someone.

A book might help a woman navigate one transition. A coaching session might help her make one decision. A workbook might guide her through one practical task.

Pick the help you can honestly provide. You can develop the rest as you learn.

Make it plain enough to explain

Use this sentence:

“I’m creating [an offer, book, or product] for [a specific woman] who wants help with [a specific problem].”

Read it aloud. Keep the words simple enough that she can recognize herself.

Then share the sentence in one appropriate conversation. Ask whether that problem is relevant to her right now. Listen to what she says and write down the questions she asks.

You are giving your idea contact with the woman it could serve.

Put movement on the calendar

Choose one small piece you can finish today: the sentence, a short outline, or a conversation.

Give it a time and follow through before starting another version.

Building your next chapter will ask you to make decisions while some things are still unfolding. You can pray, seek wise counsel, and take a practical step.

The idea you keep carrying needs a place in your day.

Clarity comes from movement.
