You’ve Found Your Voice. Now Make the Invitation.

The woman who needs your work also needs to know how she can take the next step.

Two cups of coffee and an open notebook at a bright table with a subtle palm-tree view, with the headline “Your voice. Your invitation.”

One question I return to in The Day I Walked Anyway is whose voice we are allowing to carry more authority than our own. I wrote about the ways women can begin questioning their ideas and looking outside themselves for permission to move.

That lesson belongs in business, too. When you explain your work or make an invitation, you get to use your own voice. Pray, listen, consider the fit, and speak clearly about the help you can honestly provide.

You’ve found your voice again. You’re ready to build something from what you know and the work you are equipped to do.

You can describe the idea with conviction.

Then someone asks how to buy the book, join the coaching offer, or get the product—and your answer becomes vague.

Perhaps you soften the price. Perhaps you promise to send a link and never follow up. The invitation is the part you keep postponing.

Let it become the next skill you practice.

Tell her what is available

Start with a clear explanation of the help you offer.

For a book, describe its subject and the reader it is written for. For a digital product, explain the task it helps her complete. For coaching, explain the problem you will work through together and what participation involves.

Be precise about what is ready and what someone receives.

Say the price plainly

You can care about women and receive payment for useful work.

State the price and terms honestly. Give her space to ask questions and decide whether the offer fits her needs and resources.

A purchase is a business decision. Her answer deserves respect.

If she wants to think about it, ask whether a follow-up would be helpful. Agree on a time instead of guessing.

Make the next step easy to understand

Practice an invitation such as:

“If this is the help you’re looking for, here’s what is included, what it costs, and how to get started.”

Share the appropriate link or explain the next conversation. Then do what you said you would do.

You do not have to imitate someone else’s personality to build a business. Use your own voice, explain the value honestly, and follow through.

Your next chapter includes making your work available to the woman it can serve.

Today, practice the invitation you have been avoiding.

Your move today

Give this a place in your day.

Write and practice one honest invitation to your coaching offer, book, or digital product. Include what is available, who it helps, the price, and how to take the next step. Use it when the fit is appropriate.
